Title: NCSHA - National Council of State Housing Agencies
Description: The National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA) is a national, nonprofit organization created by the nation's state housing finance agencies to assist them in increasing housing opportunities for lower income and underserved people through the financing, development, and preservation of affordable housing. State Housing Finance Agencies (HFAs) are state-chartered authorities established to help meet the affordable housing needs of their states' residents. At the center of HFA activity within the states and NCSHA's work in Washington are three federally authorized programs: the Mortgage Revenue Bond (MRB) program; the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program (Housing Credit); and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME).
